Whenever I go to laughlin this is where I stop and eat before I leave on friday mornings. There pizza and calzones are both off the charts phenomal. It does take some time to get the food sometimes, but thats because everything is handmade and fresh, not to mention piping hot. They have a great little bar with drink specials. Honestly its refreshing that a small town pizza joint can be this good. Its worth the drive off the highway if youre passing through, but I think the locals would rather this spot be kept a secret. My girlfriend and I agree theres not many places in Laughlin, Bullhead or the mohave valley in general. THIS IS A MUST TRY PIZZA JOINT. DO NOT MISS OUT. Its worth stopping and spending the hour eating a fresh pie and drinking a cold beer (or two if you arent driving)

Love this little place!! Great atmosphere, and the food is delicious! Pizza calzones are my fave so far...and they serve beer! Totally worth it!

The restaurant was a little warm but probably because the place was packed! It's like having a big family dinner...staff made you feel welcome and the baked ziti rocked! !

The food was great we had the manicotti and the eggplant parm. The sauce was excellent! The portions were perfect. The salad bar was included. It was well stocked and the salad dressings were obviously made from scratch Highly recommend!

We found this place thanks to YELP. We left very happy with our choice. Place was clean and the service was good. We ordered the 28" pizza, wings and salad bar. The soup and salad bar was very clean and delicious, with a good variety. We couldn't finish it and had almost a whole large pizza still left (5 adults and 2 kids). Totally coming back next time we come to Laughlin.

Had dinner here while on vacation in Laughlin. There 9 of us 5 kids and 4 adults. Ordered the dinner for 4 and 2 calzones. Dinner for 4 came with a large pizza, spaghetti for 4 people with meatballs, garlic bread and all you can eat salad for $30. 9 of us ate an amazing pasta and pizza dinner for under $90 with tip. Service was equally amazing everyone is super friendly and helpful. I will make this a dinner stop every time we visit Laughlin. If you are looking for budget friendly good food that is family friendly, give this a try.

Pizza, pasta, and beer was amazing. Although the servers were kind, the service was a bit slow d/t the holiday weekend. I would definitely return!!! It is a hidden treasure.

My hubby and I stopped here after reading the reviews on Yelp. I had the White One calzone and my hubby had linguine with red clam sauce , they were both very flavorful and delicious!! I'm picky about Italian food and will be back!! Service was great , fast and very friendly

We went there to meet up with some people. They picked because this is one of their favorites. Trying to keep in mind that this IS BHC, I'll try to forget that I've sampled some of the best Italian food in the US, in NY and NJ. The parking situation left much to be desired. We went at lunch time, and the restaurant only has room for maybe 7 cars. You either have to park across the street in some empty field, or down the street to some abandoned, fenced off lot. Not a place I would like to be in at night. The insides were sparsely decorated. Mostly a rowdy, Sunday football atmosphere. It didn't seem accommodating for kids, unless you count the ancient wooden high chairs. The screws were so loose on it, it looked like it would fall apart at any second. The "soup and salad bar" was a big bowl of lettuce and a few other random things on a small "bar". The soup was just a big kettle next to the salad bar. I had the Hawaiian Calzone. It was a decent size. The crust was the right consistency of firm, yet soft. The cheese was plentiful. It lacked a bit in the Canadian bacon and pineapple. Overall, it was good enough. I don't know that I would drive that far into the underbelly of BHC for it again though. I will stick with Antonucci's next time we're in town. If you like simplicity, this is the place for you.

This is the only place in Bullhead City that serves ice cold Sierra Nevada by the pitcher. OUR FAVORITE!! They also serve the best Pizza I've ever had, it is consistently wonderful. The salad bar is always well stocked. And most importantly the service is super welcoming and friendly. Love It

Very good find. Building is a little rough. Not in a great neighborhood, but it is safe. Seating extremely casual. Certainly not a place for a nice relaxing meal. But the food is outstanding. Service is very attentive and the food prices are very affordable. There really is no wine list to speak of. The pizza is outstanding, they will make it your way. Meatballs, sausage are home made as are the calzones. Great Pasta. A real food value bargain. Great place for kids, the place was packed when we were there, a lot of people getting carryout. Try it, I will go back.

Best pizza in town. Great service too.

  • Tina P.

Our friends raved about this place and it sure seemed popular among the regulars...but I thought it was just ok. The place is clean and has a casual vibe to it. The food isn't anything special. I had the Chicken piccata and it was a bit too salty. The salad bar is decent but I didn't care for the tart Italian dressing. The calzones seemed to be a hit and so did the pizza. The baked ziti was much too big a portion and looked more impressive than it tasted.

  • Pauly D.

Excellent food! The calzone, lasagne & raviolis are fabulous. It's hard to find good marinara (red) sauce dining out, but theirs is almost as good as my Italian grandmother's. Friendly service, great salad/soup bar & 2 t.v.s to watch the games on. Save me a chair, I'll be back next time I'm in town.

My parents took me here when we came out to visit 4th of July weekend. Great food, friendly service. My parents said that it is always busy, which I assumed meant it was a great place to eat, and I assumed correctly. Will be a regular place we visit when we come out. We had Pizza, which was good, we had BBQ wings which were fantastic, very saucy and big, better the Buffalo wild wings. I personally had Meat ball/Italian sausage sub, very good, but next time just get meatballs. My wife had Blonde Calzone, best dish on the table by far, kinda like a hawiian pizza, but much better. The bread all around is delicious. My brother had chicken scampi, it was good, but not something to rave about, very simple, would love it it they made it spicy! My sister in Law got spicy chicken pasta (not sure if that is the real name) but it was very good, she loved it. Overall great experience, just know if you go... super casual! Best time to go when your getting off the river/lake and being really hungry and going straight here.

Solid pizza. Cruddy service. We put a Takeaway To-Go order online and received an e-mail confirmation. When we got there they couldn't find it anywhere. They had to start the order from scratch. Don't waste your time online. Call instead. Pizza on the other hand was very good with lots of toppings. Ordered an extra large 1/2 Devils elbow, 1/2 deluxe. The Devils elbow needed a bit more of something, but the deluxe was crazy good. They don't skimp on toppings.

Stopped in for a to-go order for this season's NFL kickoff Th night game. Ordered a family four combo with a cheese and olive pizza, spaghetti with meat sauce for four, garlic bread and a large antipasto salad. Easily served three hungry adults, a starving tween and a hungry 3YO, with surprisingly few leftovers. Food was hot and fresh, service was courteous, friendly and fast, everybody was happy with taste and portions. They do not skimp on toppings (extra for olives totally worth it), the antipasto rocks, and the tween looks forward to all-you-can-eat spaghetti nights. Highly recommend; and support your local business!!

We were in town for the Regatta and my wife was craving Italian food, not many choices in Laughlin so we decided to give this place a try. We were not dissapointed. I ordered the Chicken Parmesian comes with salad and pasta. The sauce was homemade very delicious everything was piping hot major plus for me. My wife enjoyed the Raviolis half meat half cheese asked for melted mozarrella on top, soo good piping hot as well. The restaurant is old located off the beaten path. Lots of locals heres. Service could be better, there was a few customers when we arrived, it took us an hour to receive our order. I could also see other customers waiting around as well some to pay their bill. The waitresses were either overwhelmed or not attentive did not leave a good impression. Dress down shorts and tshirt. Prices are decent $9-15 per entree. Better than eating at the chain stores will be back.

Awesome service from the entire crew. Girls were courteous and on top of everything. Food was very flavorful, delicious and priced very reasonably. Portion sizes were generous. Pizza was excellent.

Wasn't digging the spaghetti , hardly any sauce on the spaghetti and couldn't taste any garlic on anything, bread sticks dry and crunchy. Calzone was alright, the marinara was better then the spaghetti sauce. Only thing that was good was the salad bar! Sorry to say I won't be back.

This place is a very small restaurant with very authentic Italian food I ordered the linguine and red clam sauce and it was absolutely delicious my wife ordered a calzone and she was in heaven when she bit into it, definitely a place that I would recommend to come for couples and family, Definitely a place to go to relax and have a cold beer

Great food & good service. Spaghetti & clams in white sauce it the spot. Salad bar & garlic bread finish off a good dinner.

  • Alejandro G.

Came here while on vacation in Laughlin and the food is good no doubt and good prices too. Their only problem is management. The employees are all over the place and seating can get crazy especially for big groups. I would definitely go back just watch at which time i would.

  • Lisa P.

Ok so I was here last weekend for the first time in about 15 years. I've been going to this place since I was about 13 and I'm 40 now. So needless to say I'm probably always going to have a smile on my face when I'm here, if not for the food, for the memories. So last weekend I had the medium white pizza. So so good and they didn't skimp on the cheese and the crust was great!

  • Mike E.

For a little spot in Bullhead City, you cant complain. The food was good, the service was ok and the prices were great. Will be back if im in the area again. Considering the area and what other options you have, this place is fantastic.

  • D. M.

I ordered the pizza bread with ranch, pineapple, bacon, and cheese. It was amazing. It was hot and everything tastes fresh. It's a small place so if they are busy then expect a wait. You can sit outside though. Worth the try if you're looking for a pizza place.

All I can say was excellent did and service. Off the beaten path but a must for dinner!

I was quite surprised on how affordable and good the food was. We came down from Vegas to Laughlin and used Yelp to find this place. It was a bit sketchy when driving through the neighborhood but once we started eating OMG

  • Sarai G.

My bf was feeling Italian so I found this restaurant through yelp. The salad bar was so good. I also enjoyed their Minestrone soup which I generally dislike. The best part of the visit was the pizza. We got a pepperoni and meatball pizza and it did not disappoint. The service was great which just made the experience that much better. It was fairly busy for a Saturday night. Get there early.

Great food and great prices. Waiter was prompt, food was ready quickly and tasted very good. Salad buffet was delicious.

Great food, great service. Tourist looking for authentic Italian food while we are out visiting the river, and we found it . Had the Family combo with the Calzone and it was excellent!

We tried this place for the first time. Thought the salad bar was very good. I had spaghetti with marinara sauce. Loved my meal! My husband had the baked spaghetti and was very pleased, also. The restaurant is off the beaten path, but well worth the find. The prices were very modest for what you got. We will return soon and often.

I read so many great reviews so I was excited to try this place. My first clue should've been everybody in there was just eating the pizza.... It was super busy and we had crappy service but I'm not upset I understand being busy. The prices were decent-ish I like it way better than Antonucci's. It's awkward to walk in you don't know if you seat yourself or get seated. I finally spotted the tiny "please seat yourself" after someone called that out to us from behind the bar. Also paying at the end of the night I didn't know if they came and got the money or you pay up at a register. I saw both going on but we were pretty much ignored so... I just got there on a busy night, I bet if I picked a slower one the quality of food and service would have been better. I got half ravioli and half pasta. Nothing to write home about. The Ravioli was hard and seemed under cooked. I didn't think it would be that busy on a sunday at 6pm. The outside looks grungy but they had lots of people so it can't be that bad. The parking is odd we parked in the dirt. I am an extremely picky person so take me with a grain of salt. My husband liked his. The chocolate mousse cheesecake is unreal. Delicious! But its the worlds smallest slice for 3.50. Same with the cannoli's. TINY. I didn't know the picture on the menu was "actual size" 3.99 for the size of my pinky finger. Atleast you got two for that price. Tasted really good though. Their garlic bread was good. Nothing special. I don't like that the bathroom is a one-er and a male/female can and the size of a small closet. It was clean though-- props for that. Overall it was eh... We did get a pizza to go. I tried it in the car and it was pretty good. Got a medium mushroom and olive. I liked that we got ten percent off due to a coupon on here. Our total was $43 for the two of us... Just damn! But we might be back... Maybe just for the pizza and dessert.

Tee is a great waitress! So friendly and sweet. I come here all the time and she is the best. The spaghetti and lasagna is very delicious

  • Desiree L.

Called to order for pick up. The lady who answered was very nice informed me of their special took the order quickly and said it would take about 15 minutes.. We ordered an extra large deluxe pizza with no mushrooms and an order of medium wings extra crispy. The food was ready when we arrived to pick up. The pizza was good but far from the best. They did load it up with toppings they weren't stingy at all! The wings were ok not as crispy as I like but not undercooked thankfully and they were a bit! At least they had good ranch!

    (3)
  • Joseph E.

It was very delicious but unfortunately two of us can't fit in the restroom at the same time

Great service, nice salad bar and very cold beer. Nice toppings on the pizza but did not like the bland sauce on the pizza. Very friendly atmosphere.

AMAZING food!! I got their baked cheese ravolives in the lunch portion, cheesy garlic bread and my husband got a med pepperoni pizza! Prices are afordable too!

  • Sam V.

Went here for dinner last night and the service was horrible. We waited forever to order, for utensils and napkins. I understand it's a holiday weekend, but when you seat a party with menus you should also include or already have on the table utensils and napkins. We ordered right off the bat pizza, salad bar and all you can eat spaghetti. The pizza was good, nothing to rave about, salad bar worth it, since the wait was so long. When we entered and exited the restaurant there was a horrible, horrible smell that made me never want to go back. It was awful, very unappetizing. They should have someone check it out.

    (2)
  • V J.

Spaghetti and ravioli combo with meat sauce was really good; meat sauce was tasty, a good portion size. Spaghetti and clams in red sauce was a treat--but know they're generous with the red pepper flakes. Lasagna was cheesy but not overly so. They were also very accommodating about dairy allergies in our party. The cheese-free calzone was delicious!

  • Nick S.

I grew up in BHC and lived half a block from D'angelo's. I was there all the time! Couldn't get enough. Their calzones are out of this world. Recently I went back to visit after five years of being away and guess what the first stop I made was? I'm so glad they're still around.

  • Calla Lily V.

Just got home after dining at D'angelo's. I'm torn here, about this writing this review. Have dined here twice before. Food and service was excellent both times prior. But this time, service was a bit off. They do not take reservations, but I called and stated we had a party of 15-20 people. We ended with up with 13 people. They were very accommodating. We ordered two 28 inch pizzas which were great (yep, that's no typo, folks ... 28 inchers). This not so great review stems from the service. We had to fetch our own silverware and napkins. Don't know about you, but to me, this is significant. Unfortunately, this affected the tip we left. I'm a stickler for leaving a well deserved tip when called for, but this time, much was left to be desired.

I have to admit we were skeptical going into this place. It took a lot of going back and forth but we finally stepped foot inside. Food: Seafood Diablo--hmmm jumbo shrimp in pasta..seafood in this part of town??? We were suspicious but low and behold fresh jumbo shrimp! Very good Chicken Angelo--Good sauce but the chicken breast was not fresh..smelled like old meat. DO NOT I REPEAT Do not go crazy on the salad bar! I don't know if it was the beets I had or what but my stomache was not too happy.

Got delivery and the pizza was only so so. Sauce was really sweet, but other than that the ingredients were nice and fresh. Next time will have to dine in for a fairer review.

After reading several other Yelpers review this place, I decided to try this place after a long hot day at Lake Havasu. When we drove by, you kinda wonder about this place. There were several cars parked in front, but you're in the middle of no where with a bunch of mobile homes surrounding this area. We actually drove back to Laughlin, then decided to try it . So we drove back over to AZ and went inside. We were warmly welcomed, and this place is obviously for locals and those out of towners that are in the know. The salad bar offerings are what one would find at a typical pizza parlor. The iceberg lettuce was starting to brown, so I had to pick through it to make a decent salad. Didn't try the beets based on another Yelper's review previously. My wife ordered the eggplant parmigiana and I ordered the Shrimp Scampi., with the kids getting a large cheese pizza. We also ordered 2 soft drinks and 2-32 oz beers. The food was excellent for such a hole in the wall location. I've had similar food of equal quality in the Bay Area and Las Vegas. We will definitely return her instead of eating at the buffets in Laughlin, which I will post a review of the Don Laughlin Riverside buffet later. Out total bill w/out tip was about $45.00, with excellent service. If you pay by credit card or debit card, they will charge you a .75 transaction fee, which is on their menu. It was hard to give a more accurate posting of their pricing: there were a lot of entrees for under $11 also. I would say the range was more like $8.95-16.95.

we usually get the food delivered because the place is small and not in the greatest neighborhood(last time we went in there was a bunch of foul mouthed bikers) but the food is great.they have a coupon they put our for a $8 large one topping and it is sooo good we are still wanting to try there 28 inch pizza lol.they have THE BEST pastrami in the tri state area and yes i have tried them all lol. there meatball sandwich is good also and there lasagna is great. my wife loves there Italian sausage.we have yet to be disappointed they are consistently good quality.so for my money there are only 2 quality Italian restaurants in bullhead city / laughlin area and that is d'angelos and colianos .

Love this place! Try the calzone.

Great Food. Big Portions... Friendly Service & Inexpensive ... If you like mom & pop restaurants, this is a must try place if you are in the BHC area. In addition to great pizza, calzones, ravioli, spaghetti, etc they have a full bar. Check out their daily specials

  • Mark B.

I'm from So Cali, and use to the high pricing at restaurants. For Bullhead City, this place is a deal for the food and service received. I've been back many times. Definitely a place to try. It's a hole-in-the-wall type place, locals favorite. Try a 16oz cold draft Bud for $1.75 or 32oz priced at $3.50. I'm a boater that often travels to Laughlin/BHC during the boating season.

  • Pied P.

Forgive me but I'm a bit spoiled by having Italian food done the Italian way. If you are a fan of overcooked pasta, garlic bread which doesn't taste much like garlic, and a crab shack ambiance disguised as an Italian restaurant, then you might enjoy dining here. The two stars are for the all-you-can-eat salad bar and graciousness. We had traveled and forgot about the time change, thinking it was 9:10pm not 10:10pm, but the servers still let us in which is always a plus.

Love this place!! We usually come once a week at least. My sister swears by the Devils Elbow Calzone. She ordered it deluxe this week and it was huge!! I think she had it for breakfast and lunch the next day. I love the salad bar and the white one Calzone is delicious too. Definitely a place you have to try in bullhead.

Lunch on a Sunday. Menu prices increased from those on their website [but still ridiculously low]. We had the 55+ menu [all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar, plus garlic bread]: Spouse had Spaghetti with Marinara sauce at $5.99 Same for me, but with two meat balls at $6.99 plus one SMALL glass Merlot. The salad bar had minimum choices; the Marinara sauce was thick and barely covering the unremarkable pasta. All was below average but edible. If lowest cost is what you're after and you are a senior, this qualifies as a bargain. To us, the quality didn't reach acceptable levels, so the cost doesn't matter, if what you get ends up just not worth it, no matter how low it goes. The service was pleasant and functional. Bottom line - we'll try elsewhere.

The best calzones ever! Everything here is great. Best in tri- state!!!

Best Italian place in town! I eat here at least twice a month. Staff is the best, and lots of food for the price. I like the veggie pizza, add sausage nothing likr it.

Shrimp scampi appetizer was delicious. Save the extra sauce for your garlic bread or extra pasta. Prices extremely reasonable.

Calzone.....amazing. Salad bar.....amazing. BJs has nothing on their BBQ chicken pizza!

  • Ryan F.

I MISS THIS PLACE! I used to work right around the corner, and every few days we would order from there. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER CALZONE ANYWHERE IN THE AREA! But beware, the full size is a MONSTER! Always had decent pricing and extremely friendly service. This place is absolutely worth trying if you are around. You will become a fan.

Not only do they have great food - friendly staff - and good prices. They know how to treat seniors. They have every day - every hour - senior specials - pasta - salad bar - great garlic bread. We try to vist often.

Great pizza. Service is a little slow, had to keep asking for drink refill but the food and price were great.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
